The Pharmaceutical Council urges the government to use the same mechanism as provided in article 190 of the 2007 constitution to start negotiations CPTPP agreement, in order to create transparency and participation of all sectors as the submission of this agreement may affect the domestic pharmaceutical industry. Also, calls for establishing independent and reliable academic mechanisms by having to make an analysis report of the impact on national interests proposed to the public and parliament before making international agreements.
