The first clinic to offer both marijuana-based traditional and modern treatments for diseases, including Parkinson's, has now opened in Chiang Mai. Public Health Minister stated that At least five groups of illnesses can be cured, or relieved, by marijuana extracts. The diseases listed under modern medicine include Parkinson's, epilepsy and multiple sclerosis. In addition, the clinic advises traditional treatments to patients with insomnia, migraine, body pains, neurosis-derived tremors and paralysis.
