Allergies are one of the most important chronic diseases in Thai people. According to studies, it is found that "dust mites" are the main allergens that cause allergies in the respiratory system. Admiringly, Siriraj Hospital is the first in the ASEAN countries that can produce dust mites vaccine. The vaccines are manufactured according to the standards of the World Health Organization and the Food and Drug Administration of the USA and approved by the Ministry of Public Health. It is considered as a success in applying science and technology to enhance the quality of life of allergy patients.
